Both my husband and I have been seen in the emergency room and urgent care several times since the beginning of the year. We have had nothing but outstanding care, and always felt that the staff was concerned about our condition and comfort. Were we seen immediately? No - it's an emergency room and there were patients getting care when we arrived. But we were kept informed and comfortable, and when medical personnel came in, they were kind, professional and focused on us. Even knowing how busy they were, we never felt rushed. Since then, BECAUSE of the great care we've had, I've transferred all of my medical care to SCRMC from my very favorite doc in Stillwater . In each and every clinic, I've had nothing but professional, courteous, thorough care. I think SCRMC is one of the gems that make this area a great place to live.
I've waited 5 weeks since my surgical procedure to give this review - I wanted my feedback for SCRMH to be voiced when I felt that I had taken a proper amount of time to reflect upon my experience rather than react prematurely. The facts about unacceptable practices of the staff were reported to supervisory staff at the time and I was told that immediate action had been taken. I found that to be highly doubtful. Overall, the "care" given on the hospital floor (beyond the recovery area) was the worst I have ever experienced. I was educated in the medical field. I have family members with medical backgrounds as well who were witness to a pervasive lack of concern, poor communication and unprofessional conduct in general. Needless to say, I would not recommend this hospital to any patient. I will never step foot into the facility again and I will speak honestly and frankly to anyone who inquires about a referral or about my experience in November 2017 without hesitation.
This review excludes the surgeon and his immediate team. They were exceptional.
Always have an excellent experience here. I have been a patient here for over 30 years and dealt with at least 10 different health care providers more if I include my wife and family. They definitely want the best for their patients.
I had my daughter here and have received medical care here for all of the 11 years I have lived in Wi. I travel over an hour just to get to scrmc. The care is fantastic and the Dr experiences I have had have been great. There was one slip up from a Dr who told me I would have to learn to live with the pain I was having, I went to a separate Dr (same facility) to get a new opinion and they found a tumor along my spine, they set everything up for me to transfer to another hospital that was more prepared for a situation like mine. I will forver be grateful to scrmc for getting to the root of my health problems. The staff has always been courteous and helpful, I was also very impressed with the ER and how fast they get patients back in there. I would recommend this hospital to anyone! It's so worth the hour and fifteen min drive.
Almost ten years misdiagnosed and mistreated. During that time no relief from pain. Today I decided I will never return to this hospital that has forced me to live a life in hell. They will destroy you mentally and physically here and then tell you it's your fault. They will run the same tests over and over never reaching a determination so they can continue to bill your insurance. Stay away from this nightmare posing as a hospital. The doctors don't even deny they are their for the money not the patients. Dr.Ayub confirmed that during an appointment today. This is no exaggeration. "Of course we are here for the money, unfortunately it's more important than the patient"
